NATE Information

    Excellence Alliance has established a relationship with NATE to act as one of its testing organizations. Two types and dates are provided each year for proctoring tests related to CORE and SPECIALTY curriculum. Successful completion of the CORE test signifies that the individual is Installation Certified. With the successful completion of both tests, an individual would be certified in both Installation and Service.

    • Core Curriculum Testing - covers the following areas: of safety, tools, soft skills, principles of heat transfer and total comfort, and on electrical.
    • Specialty Curriculum Testing - covers the following area: installation, service,system components, and applied knowledge of: regulations, codes, and design.
